Ein 60er-Jahre-Haus hat Wände verloren und an Leichtigkeit gewonnen, Johannesburg

A covered walkway now leads from the driveway to the front entrance of the renovated 1960s Parkhurst home of Brett Lotriet Best and Khalid Shawwa. But when the couple first saw the house it was in sad shape. Rather than fight against the original design the couple chose to improve and modernise it by capitalising on its strengths, at times amplifying existing aspects of the house.
