This summer house overlooking the sea is located in the area of Manatiales near Punta del Este in Uruguay. Architect Diego Montero carried out the whole project: from its design to its tiniest decoration detail. The basic principle was to mix styles in perfect harmony: recycled furniture soft cement floors and strong colours to enhance certain areas. The house was built on a few square meters and with a simple functional design. It was supported by pillars to comply with a local regulation stating that houses cannot be built directly on the sand to favor the formation of dunes.
