When Kate's husband Toby, a managing director for an insurance company, was relocated to East Sussex, the couple and their three children rented before committing to buying a property. Although the house was a newbuild and ideal in many ways, Kate and Toby still wanted to adapt a few things. To facilitate these changes Kate asked interior designer Susie Pfeiffer for a little practical advice.
