When you're running three businesses from home, workspace becomes a priority and so it was for Joy and Steve when they were searching for a new place to live. They found exactly what they were looking for on the outskirts of Ryde on their native Isle of Wight; a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac, with a huge, L-shaped ground floor extension. They loved the house's spacious feel, its proximity to the sea and its generous, turned staircase, complete with the wrought iron banisters installed when it was built during the 1960's. However, Joy says, it needed a lot of work to make it feel like home.
